‘Occupy Central’: Student Protest, Hong Kong, 9^th November 2014

In Causeway Bay the ‘Occupy Central’ closure of Hennessey Road is still intact which seems to indicate that the SAR government, Beijing and the police are at a stalemate with the Students, and they are taking a ‘wait and see’ attitude due to the fact that the whole world is watching.

As a result ‘Occupy Central’ is no longer front-page headlines, unless the protest becomes a violent confrontation. Here then are a few inside headlines from Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post newspaper.
