‘Occupy Central’: Student Protest, Hong Kong, 11^th October 2014

There was much hope on Thursday 9^th October, the day before the proposed meeting between the Protestors and Carrie Lam, Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong Government, however the preliminary talks were uncomfortable as both sides “squabble” over the agenda.

Carrie Lam abruptly announced that the Government cancelled the talks. This lead to the Protestors calling for Hong Kong wide public support which made the front page of the South China Morning Post, Friday 10^th October 2014.
