Lake House, Pickering, Ontario.
On the last day of my visit to Toronto, 27th August 2013, I felt disappointed that I had not had time to sketch anything there for the past four days. I guess I was preoccupied with pressing personal assignments and my sketching passion was somewhat dormant at the time.
I recall there is a marina in an area by the lake called Frenchman’s Bay, so I thought since it is close to where I was staying, a short drive there would give me time to make a quick sketch of the marina.
Not an outstanding setting but adequate to ‘quench’ my wish. Actually I enjoyed the quiet time with my sister Joy. She took the photos while I was sketching, then after which we strolled the area with not a care in the world.
