When I first arrived in Hong Kong in 1993 I was intrigued by the scale, warmth and complexity of the urban townscape of the Mid Levels area. I was hooked on exploring Hong Kong Island by foot. I took my sketchbook everywhere with me.
Those were the days before digital cameras, alleluia!
