Revisiting Marina del Rey, Los Angeles
I was last in Mindanano Way Bay on the 30th October 2008. More than a year later I revisited to make a new sketch. I followed the same procedures, seek and frame the view, identify the layers, and then establish the vanishing points in the horizon. After which I took a photo of the view.

Same area, same pedestrian walk but opposite view. I began with the boat in the foreground, then added the surrounding boats as they radiate across the page. The low apartment building and the shading and shadows were the last elements that finalized the sketch.
